This is a song born spontaneously, as an improvisation, by Roma singer Rejo while performing at a wedding. Live music by Roma singers and musicians is traditionally not rehearsed nor planned. The performers, instead, weave into the lyrics the people or occasion being celebrated and simultaneously sing a prayer and create a rhythm that draws you into dancing.
