Savi daj sijan tu? | "What mother are you?"

While the Romani sing a lot about romantic love, they also sing about everything - and we mean, everything - else. It would be a true challenge to find a human emotion or situation that doesn’t exist in Roma music. “What mother are you?”, performed in traditional Balkan folklore style by Romani band “Amalipe”, is a song by an orphan who’s lost one parent to death, and one to abandonment and a cold heart.
